“Soup” is an industry term for paving asphalt (PG64-10) cooled down to a solid state. When reheated on a jobsite, contractors are able to hand tack small patch jobs.
“Soup” is sold in 5 gallon metal buckets.
Note: Use proper safety equipment when handling hot soup.
